Oral interview conducted by Ivan Carbine at Salt Lake City, Utah on 5September 1961. Romney discusses the life of Edmund Richardson who was alawyer and active member of the Mormon Church in Mexico during the late 1800s. Romney says Richardson was active in averting trouble between the Mexicans and the Mormon colonizers at that time.
